Providing Communications, Digital, and Narrative Support since 2010
Meet the Grassroots Story Works Team
Grassroots Story Works was founded by Mo and Jasmine Banks, two longtime partners in life and movement. We started this business to bring the independent work we’ve been doing for years under one roof so we can continue to offer high-quality communications, digital, and narrative support to the people and projects we believe in.
We bring more than a decade of experience in strategic communications, storytelling, campaign development, and digital organizing. Our backgrounds include work in civic engagement, abolition, mutual aid, disability justice, LGBTQ+ advocacy, narrative strategy, and environmental justice.
Our approach is relational, strategic, and deeply committed to justice. We are passionate about making communications feel aligned, accessible, and impactful, not extractive or performative.
At Grassroots Story Works, we’re in this for the long haul. We believe that powerful movements need powerful messaging, and we’re here to help shape it with care and intention.
